Template:&/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:&.
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Any HTML character entity name or number recognized by the wiki can be passed as an argument, and its HTML character entity reference (&name; or &#number;) will be returned. Without this template, &name; or &#number; would need to be used.

A keyboard character can be sent instead of the entity name, however not all characters have been coded.

This template will be used most predominately in the DPL Manual.
