Overview[ | ]

A magical creature. They may look impressive at first glance when you fight them, but they lack the potential to become late-game units.

If you end up getting any you're better off selling them at the market, where they fetch a high price.

Combat[ | ]

They have high base Strength (5) and low Magic (1) stats, but their growths are reversed with low Strength Growth (0.7) and high Magic Growth (1.5).

However they can be acquired early game for fast access to powerful healing spells. Their Mana is good enough that even as their damage starts falling off, they can serve as medics until you find a replacement.

Even after they outgrow their usefulness, you'll want to keep an eye out for them so that you can defeat them for the useful LightShard they drop.

Overworld[ | ]

Breeding[ | ]

If you wish to use one as a medic, you could consider fusing one with Heal and another with GreaterHeal for MassHeal.

Moneymaking[ | ]

  • They're the 2nd best creature to sell. They can be sold for 500 gold at Medium size and for 1500 gold at Enormous size. Every level above 1 additionally increases their price by 5%.

What's more, you can find them at the Town Forest to immediately take to the market.

Notes[ | ]

  • There is a forest tile event involving a large sized Magic Deer. You can ignore it and be on your way, attack it for a battle involving other units (which will get you ManaHerbs, which permanently increase max Mana), attempt to tame it outright if you have a Tamer in your party, or try to win it over by offering 2 food.
