One day you wake up to loud noises and earthquakes, and an incredible sight. Giant inhuman creatures appear to be fighting in the sky.
The more humanoid, blue glowing thing seems to create walls around itself, while burning and cutting the others with rays of light. Red worm like things keep piercing the barriers, entering the body of the blue one, exploding its body bit by bit. Each worm or bodypart that falls to the ground shakes the earth.
Completely stunned, you and your friend watch this spectacle, not even thinking of trying to run away from something like this. Eventually, the two biggest creatures fall to the ground. First, all small red worms simply dissolve into a glowing smoke, followed by both big creatures.
Without much time to think about what just happened, a wave of energy knocks you unconcious and you fall to the ground

In a surreal dream, you hear a soft voice, explaining to you what happened and you somehow trust those words completely. Those two creatures were the bodies of gods, which are now dead.
You now possess a spark of the power that once belonged to the red creature, Creation, granting you the ability to raise armies and change the world.
The voice changed slightly. You were chosen, because of your strong believe that something in this world is fundamentally wrong.
That god wanted to wipe out all live, so they could start again on a clean slate, creating life together while learning from their past mistakes. The other god clings to the world as it is, desperately trying to save it, no matter how corrupt it has become. Your friend now holds that gods power, the power of evolution. This means her views on changing the world strongly align with that god, just like yours align with your god.
You won't be able to convince her to join you while she still has hopes for this world.
So you realize, on your quest of saving the world, she will be your biggest obstacle, and you hers.

You wake up to the sight of your girlfriend with a glowing bird on her shoulder her, shielding her while she's still dreaming.

A glowing snake curls around you impatiently. After realizing you're awake it climbs up your arm, changing part of it's body into a humanoid form. She talks to you in the same voice as your dream "Hi, I'm Hebi. Let me help you create a better world. Leave this place for now." You leave your girlfriend behind.

Overview

The god of Creation with a sacrificial worldview, Siena is one of the main characters of Portals of Phereon. Her special ability is that she can custom create units of other species, and by performing rituals she can gain skill points for permanent upgrades that affect every unit she makes. She can also create and take advantage of her exclusive slime terrain, and corrupt those with Base Species genes into slime Hybrid Species that are at home on it. While she doesn't have the power and flexibility of Evolution or the range of skills that the Prince/Druid has, Siena can summon forth armies of custom units that can best their standard counterparts.

Siena herself is easily the weakest of the three Main Characters. Her stats are reliant upon her genetic values and level type like most units, yet as the MC GeneAdapters and various other potions have no effect on her. As you cannot leave the MC out of the party, Siena will partake in battles and gain levels, made worse by the fact she only requires half the exp that the other MCs do. In short, there's no way to level her optimally to her full potential. Additionally, she learns the fewest skills of the three, and has no way of adapting to different terrain like the others do. That said, her strengths are more than enough to overcome her shortcomings.
Siena may not have many skills, but some of those that are exclusive to Creation are powerful enough to use from beginning to end. Her signature attack spell, Slime Bolt, is a veritable machinegun only costing 3 mana and 1 ap with no cooldown. Even if its water damage is undesirable against certain types of enemies, you can target the ground instead to turn it into slime. Infect is a plague that spreads upon the unit's defeat, healing slime units while damaging others. GeneExtract not only weakens a target for two turns, in most cases it will also unlock that species for Siena to create. No need to expend a rare MindBender getting a Holy Seal, jab it with GeneExtract then you can make as many as you want at home. That brings us to Siena's greatest strength: the power of Creation.

Any species Siena has unlocked for Creation can be custom made, from its entire skill set to some passive abilities. If you want a Siren with Spark and LightningStrike for offensive purposes you can simply make one without needing to look for one or cross breeding until you get lucky. Fire Dragons may have a completely fixed skill set but Siena can create one to have MeteorStorm instead. Furthermore, Siena can learn to grant up to five passives onto units she creates. No need to waste a slot on a Poisonous trait when you can grant that unit Poison attacks. Throw Burn and Bleeding in the mix for a killing machine, or LifeSteal and DrainMana for a unit that recovers itself with every attack. She can even learn to freely adapt traits onto any unit she creates in this manner, initially reserved only for slime units.
The only downside to this used to be that you couldn't choose a level type as well. Since the passives can't be inherited, the unit had to be used with its default level type. In this regard, it's better to just evolve some Spirit Species. However the recent addition of Essences presents another downside. Since additional growth rates don't apply to Siena's creations, you're forced to choose between skills and passives or raw power. Unfortunately the longer a game goes on, the more the stat growths stand out, particularly those from Egg Mastery which doesn't have a limit, so Creation loses some appeal over time.

As far as team compositions go Siena has the greatest freedom in making teams, though whether they'll work well with Siena herself is another question altogether. With the power of creation Siena can get around infertility issues and create Oracles after recruiting Terranva, robots without being a Mechanist, or all the different base Spirit Species without being an Elementalist. Even an all-human team for the novelty of it, if you're so inclined. However the composition that offers the greatest advantage is naturally her slime type units. Not only do they benefit from slime tiles, Siena can get Essences and Soul Fragment bonuses that further emphasize the use of slime. In that regard Siena's best element is light, which does not have its own terrain type to compete.

Skill tree

Level types

At the start of a Tanid skill tree Siena is able to select upgrades that changes her leveltype, and consequently change the way how every subsequent level-up will affect her stats. The way how it works will make those upgrades replace each other while keeping already gained stats since they do not affect previous levelups retroactively.

Table below represents stat changes for each level type compared to original Support level type that Siena starts the game with. One might consider getting one of these upgrades early to maximise her late game parameters.

Level type/Stats str hp mana mg ldmg
magic 33% 20% -44% 75% 0%
strength 133% 60% -56% -25% -20%
