Swamp Slimes have pretty average stats and a huge pool of possible skills with no guarantees, so they might look like all rounders with no particular strengths. However they have some unique abilities that make them worth recruiting.

Firstly, they can freely change genders at no cost. Quite convenient.

Secondly, they can reset their entire skill set, giving them a blank slate on which they can copy the MC's inheritable skills.

Thirdly, they can absorb other Swamp Slimes for 10 stamina. This destroys the absorbed character, granting the other benefits. It allows them to gain all the genetic traits they had, upgrade their genetic stats to the the higher one +1 (up to 20 for Max Level, 10 for the rest), as well as removing their injuries.

This makes them incredibly useful if you're willing to invest the time. You can breed and absorb to increase the genetic values available to you, or you can custom build a Swamp Slime for a specific role by breeding particular Level Type and copying skills.

Produces Slime.

Notes

It's the only species with visible differences between sexes, mainly it's horns.
