Strategies
Combat
The Mantis works well in an aggressive team composition. They high strength stat, high mobility from the "Long jump" skill and high damage from the "Slice" skill, makes them a good nuke unit. They are quite flimsy though due to the "Bad anatomy" trait and their low health stat, so consider trying to end the fight fast.
Playing against
The Mantis can be a dangerous foe. The unit is very mobile due to its fixed 0 AP skill "Long jump". This, alongside their high strength stat and fixed "Slice" skill means, that the Mantis can take out several of your units fast. Try to exploit their low health stat and defeat them as quickly as possible. If you can't get close enough, see if you can take advantage of their "Bad anatomy" trait, which makes them weak to seduction.
Overworld
Bonus to scouting.

Notes
