Lavataurs make for good Centaur surrogates in rocky and volcanic environments, with some offensive magic added into the mix to counterbalance their average stats at higher levels.

Combat[ | ]
Their decent HP, Strength, and charge movement make them decent combatants, but their magic growth is where they really shine. Try to get them some spells to make use of that.
The Charge skill may seem redundant with their charge movement, but it allows them to quickly cross ground terrain that they would normally struggle with due to their Lava move type. Combined with LavaTrail it gives them the capacity to efficiently terraform plains, forests and, to a lesser degree, snow and slime hexes, making movement easier for other lava breeds in the party.

The Land Mount ability gives them the option to carry smaller party members, reducing the time needed to traverse a land hex.

Lavataurs have above-average virility, making them good at impregnating. On the other hand their fertility is on the low side, making it a little difficult when it comes to being impregnated themselves.

Their beauty rating is slightly better than a Centaur, making them a better choice for a spot in the Brothel, although there are better options.
