Combat
Can easily distribute mana among allies over large distances.
Shadow Insects are more than just mana batteries, they're mana conduits, able to facilitate the flow of large amounts of mana between party members in shadowform to where it's needed most with DrainMana and ShareEnergy. Needless to say, they ought to be part of a shadow team, and they work best if there's units capable of restoring mana. They can also DrainEffects, taking debuffs from allies or buffs from enemies onto themselves.
