Fishtaurs have extremely high HP and respectable strength, making them excellent tanks, capable of receiving a beating while dishing out one in return to the attacker.

Their mobility is mediocre in every biome, except for water tiles.

Just like purebred centaurs, they are vulnerable to seduction type enemies.

Strategies

Combat

Fishtaurs are a pretty straightforward breed, they are battleships, but, unlike real-world ones, they are also able to traverse land, albeit slowly.

They have the highest base HP of all species, coupled with above-average strength and possible regeneration ability, making them capable of receiving damage from multiple sources for many turns while still crippling the opposition.

While on water tiles, they move just like a normal centaur would on plains, making them an offensive tank, however, on any other terrain type, that speed is more than halved, making them struggle to keep up with the fight, changing their role to a defensive tank for other units to hide behind.

Depending on the battlefield terrain composition, their dive ability can give them a boost in mobility to offset their mobility issues.

Like other Centaurs, they suffer from the "Bad Anatomy" trait, making them easily "Lust Locked", making a second line support character to snap them out of their lust recommended, but not indispensable, since they would still fulfil their tank role.

Also, if said support character happens to have healing abilities, that would make the Fishtaur an almost impenetrable wall.

Overworld

The Land mount ability gives them the option to carry smaller party members, reducing the time needed to traverse a land hex, although not by much since their land speed is bad anyway.

The Water mount ability gives them the option to carry smaller party members, giving them the ability to traverse deep water and reducing the time needed to pass through water hexes.

Their above-average strength makes them goodish pack mules to carry inventory items around.

Breeding

Their above-average virility and below-average fertility make them able to impregnate and being impregnated rather fast and hassle-free.

Moneymaking

While they produce slightly less semen than the average Centaur, they produce much more milk, making them a generally better choice for the milking market.

Their higher beauty value makes them a better choice for a brothel spot, compared to a Centaur

Notes

  • Their awkward body structure makes classic intercourse on land impossible.
  • Lorewise their low land mobility is justified by the fact that their genitals rub on the ground and leave a trail of sexual fluids behind them (Ouch!).
