Combat[ | ]
With its fixed LavaBeam and potential Fireball and Ignite skills, it's easier to treat it as a fire mage than a slime unit, especially since LavaBeam will evaporate slime tiles. However BulbExplosion is where it's really at, sacrificing a SlimeBulb to deal twice its Mana as true damage in a radius 2 area. With the right setup it's basically a tactical nuke.
A Mandragora's ShootBulb or a Tansect's BulbJump is recommended for easy placement of a SlimeBulb away from your units, along with a Light Tanid's EnergizeBulb to fill up its Mana for maximum damage.
