The Tanid Lizard is a tank unit with low Health growth which depends on its high Armor to take hits. They can't equip weapons, instead getting a second misc slot.

They have extremely high Armor, combined with their passive Thorns and Poison they're designed to whittle down their enemies through attrition. However their health is quite low, making them weak to attrition through certain status effects themselves (such as Bleeding), as well as high burst damage and Armor piercing attacks.

Tanid Lizards are slowed down a lot by their own weight. When curled up, it's almost impossible to find a weak spot, so they can rest anywhere.
