It's not much of an upgrade from the [[Fire Spirit]] in terms of stats. You put up with it because the [[Fire Dragon]] it evolves into is awesome. However they're bugged in version 0.18.0.1 and are unable to evolve further due to the button not doing anything, so avoid it in that version.

Evolved from a Fire Spirit, learning Bite in the process. Alternatively they can be captured in lava portals or in intense heat weather. Can also be found in the lost egg, cave exploration events.
